Hello Guys,
I am from Albania , and cannot write in polonian as I cannot understand it.
I have read and followed alot of threads here regarding turbo setup for bmw m50 engines.
I decided to turbo my e36 with engine M50B20 NV. The engine was taken from an e34 and the sump was changed.
I found a turbo ( from a 4.8 litre volvo diesel engine of year 2011) and made all the parts ready, exhaust manifold, oil lines, intercooler, injectors 320cc and also some other things.
Also bought Ecu master det 3 . My DME is with 402 and I have a spare with 405.
I connected the Det 3 as per instructions, without connecting the injectors and IAT, but only MAF and TPS.
I started the car and after 10 minutes the car got hot, and the exhaust catalysts heated very much, getting red.
Now I know that I must remove the catalysts and make a straight pipe.
I want to ask , do i Need to connect the Ecu Master in Fuel implant mode connection in order to control Fuel quantity?
Please give me some advices as , in Albania I think I am the only one making this kind of car setup, and there is no info or help here.

You can control fuel also in piggyback mode (changing MAF's values) but it's not good and popular solution nowadays for turbo.Patrik1985 pisze: I want to ask , do i Need to connect the Ecu Master in Fuel implant mode connection in order to control Fuel quantity?
So I advise You to connect it as Fuel Implant. Find tuner who will take care Your car on dyno and ask him about advices.
Pro-tip: Delete cat and sell - Maybe You 'll get nice cash and Your exhaust 'll be more efficient.

I will connect it today and will try to start the car, but there is no known tuner here in Albania who can tune ecu master .
I have to tune it myself and as soon as the car will run good , I will take it to Thessaloniki to tune it on a dyno.
There is no dyno in Albania.
Please can you help me with the fuel implant connection mode, as I am not clear how to connect the power injectors. Do they need to be wired 1-3-5 with one Power output and 2-4-6 with the second power output of the det 3?
